For several months, in the Fall of last year (2009) – as in some previous months – rumors began circulating, on the Internet, that Myatt had returned to his much revised mystical philosophy, The Numinous Way. Prior to this, The Numinous Way Foundation had, in April of 2009, issued a collection of new and revised essays about The Numinous Way under the somewhat un-original title The Numinous Way: Empathy, Compassion and Honour.

In the Introduction to this collection, the author – a certain DW Myatt – had this to say:

” This book is a collection of essays related to The Numinous Way, which essays attempt to elucidate this new ethical philosophy, based upon empathy, compassion, and honour, which I have developed, and refined, over a period of many years, and which philosophy – which Way of Life – thus expresses my own conclusions about life. These conclusions are the result of a four-decade long pathei mathos: the result of my many and diverse and practical (and, to many others, weird and strange) involvements (political, and otherwise), and my many and diverse and practical quests among the philosophies, Ways of Life, and religions, of the world. The Numinous Way is, in particular, the result of the often difficult process of acknowledging my many personal mistakes – many of which caused or contributed to suffering – and (hopefully) learning from these mistakes.

The essays presented here represent the culmination of my own thinking, and thus supersede all other essays of mine about, or concerning, The Numinous Way, and what I, previously, called The Numinous Way of Folk Culture. For there has been, for me, a profound change of emphasis, a following of the cosmic ethic of empathy to its logical and honourable conclusion, and thus a rejection of all unethical abstractions, including those of the nation, of what is termed “race”, and what I previously, in more unempathic days, referred to as “the folk”. It is empathy, compassion and honour which are paramount – the living of an ethical way of life by individuals which is important – not some outward, causal, form, nor the classification and (unethical) judgment of individuals according to some abstraction, some stereotype, some dogma, some ideology, or some theory. “  The Numinous Way of Life: Empathy, Compassion, and Honour

This rumored return, by Myatt, to his own – if revised – rather mystical, and somewhat pagan, philosophy – or Weltanschauung – was privately confirmed in several letters, and e-mails, which he sent me in late January of this year, and which he later confirmed with the distribution of a new autobiographical essay, dated 2455227.753, where he, with a rather admirable honesty and candor, writes:

“There [was] a stubborn clinging to doing what I conceived to be my honourable duty, and it is only in the last month that I have finally and to my own satisfaction resolved, in an ethical way, the dilemma of such a duty, thus ending my association with a particular Way of Life, which Way many consider a religion…..

For almost four years – since Francine’s suicide – I struggled with this dilemma of honour and duty, believing that it was my honourable duty to stubbornly adhere to the particular Way of Life I had embraced in the previous decade; and stubbornly adhere despite the conclusions of my own thinking regarding compassion and empathy, manifest as these conclusions were in the ethical, and non-racialist, Numinous Way that I had continued to develope. Thus did I during this period, and several times, publicly and in private re-affirm my commitment to that particular Way of Life, striving hard to forget my own answers, born from my thinking, my experiences, and especially from that personal tragedy, for surely these things were only a test, a trial, of my belief, my honour? Was it not therefore my duty to just humbly submit to الله, to thus acknowledge that my own thinking, my own conclusions based on experience, were flawed, the product of error and pride?

But, to paraphrase TS Eliot, here I am now, in the middle way I have devised for myself, having had many years, often wasted, the years between two wars within myself

Trying to use words, and every attempt
Is a wholly new start, and a different kind of failure

Thus, I have declared a still rather shaky new truce, a compromise: based on a treaty where I have (re)defined personal honour as a practical manifestation of empathy, of the desire to cease to cause suffering to living-beings, with such empathy and the compassion deriving from it a guide to living that awareness of ourselves as but one nexion to all Life and to the Cosmos, and which awareness, which Cosmic perspective, expresses both our true human nature and the potential we possess to change ourselves into higher, more evolved, beings.

I would like to believe that this new truce I have manufactured will hold, but I have believed that before, and been mistaken, and even now it occurs to me that my theory of ethics, my new definition of honour, is just that: mine, and that I may be wrong. Yet my experiences – my feeling for, my empathy with, the numinous (manifest for instance in sublime music or in a mutual personal love) – tell me I can only live what I feel, I know, I empathize with, and this now is presenced in my developed Numinous Way. ” DW Myatt: A Change of Perspective

Thus, he admitted that,

“The Numinous Way – as now developed, and as explicated by me in the past year or so – represents my true nature: the hard, difficult, re-discovery of what I had controlled, and lost; and, perhaps more importantly, an evolution of that personal nature as a result of my diverse experiences, my learning from my mistakes, and my empathic awareness of the suffering I have caused to others.

Hence, I have been, for many decades, wrong; misguided. Or, rather, I misguided myself, allowing idealism and a perceived duty to triumph over, to veil, my humanity. My good intentions were no excuse, even though, for nearly four decades, I made them an excuse, as idealists always do.”

It is, perhaps, worth emphasizing that the Numinous Way which Myatt has returned to is a very much revised, ethical, and apolitical development of his own mystical philosophy where, as he importantly states in several revised articles (such as Questions About Race, The Folk, and The Numinous Way) both “nationalism” and the concepts of race, and “the folk”, are rejected, being regarded as unethical abstractions, and thus have no place in his Numinous Way.

Furthermore, Myatt is, in my view, to be commended for honestly revealing the details of this difficult process of personal transformation, as detailed especially in his (now published) private letters, and several essays, written between 2006 AD and early 2010 AD. He might also be commended – minor reservations regarding “sinister rôles” aside – for his spiritual and rather mystical odyssey this past decade or more; an odyssey which has taken him from being a violent neo-nazi street activist – the “most evil nazi in Britain” – to being a Muslim; to embracing multi-racialism, and propagating violent Jihad; to finally returning to the humanity evident in his new ethical, “numinous”, philosophy of empathy and compassion.

However, I am inclined to agree with Myatt that he will not be understood, in his own lifetime, and that, as he says somewhat ponderously, he -

“…will continue to be judged, by others, according to some, or all, of my former beliefs, and involvements, which beliefs and involvements the majority of people, un-enlightened and un-empathic as they remain, still describe by some un-numinous abstraction or other and which they have to categorize as either political or religious, or both, forgetting or unaware as they are of the numinous and personal and undivided reality beyond which can only be felt, discovered or known through a personal knowing of, a personal empathy with, the person they are talking and/or writing about…”

Certainly, the majority of people, curious about, or interested in, David Myatt, for whatever reason, almost invariably make some pejorative comment about Myatt’s outward peregrinations among various religions, and about his change from neo-nazi to Jihadi Muslim, believing as they do that all these peregrinations reveal Myatt to be at best “weird”, and at worst “psychological unstable”, or having a dysfunctional personality. Thus do they, in my opinion, reveal not only their own superciliousness, but also their own lack of detailed knowledge of Myatt, his life, and his works, basing their opinion as they do almost always on either the prejudiced opinions of others or on just a cursory reading of perhaps one or two Myatt’s works, or even just the Internet entry in Wikipedia about Myatt. For, as a perceptive young English lady recently (January 2010) wrote:

[Myatt is] a complex man, and one who it’s impossible to understand without considered and prolonged study. Reading wikipedia will only obfuscate, given that the way information is structured and determined appropriate there is mutually exclusive with any expression which provides understanding of his character. The Wikipedia article simply isn’t useful in forming any intelligent opinion of him.

He would say that you are being dishonourable by passing a superficial-causal judgement without taking the time to either meet and discuss matters with him or, at least, seriously attempt to understand things from his perspective before making an empathetic judgement, and not reactively judging in accordance with emotive-abstract labels.

At least read his poetry if you’re going to post about him (not any points he’s made or his Philosophy on their own merits). That’s where you can see the man as he is, and come to some limited appreciation of the kinds of things that motivate his actions; instead of seeing him as he plays at being for the sake of understanding. (Yes, understanding– how dedicated would a person have to be that they would be prepared to immerse themselves in violent subcultures such as radical Islam for the purpose of understanding that which is heretical from the inside? You’d have to want understanding more than anything else. You’d have to be a martyr to wisdom, doing that in the knowledge that you’d forever be instantly rejected upon the basis of some label you’d voluntarily taken on. Bear in mind that he’s alternated between the Numinous Way, radical Islamism and other positions for years now. That’s not the behavior of a self-identified ideologue or true believer. )

As someone else wrote, last year, and also on the Internet:

” [Myatt] appears to have been on a multi- decade intellectual/spiritual journey that has taken him far beyond his NS/supremacist origins, through all sorts of twists and turns (his writings on “numinosity”, NS ethics, Islam, Buddhism, etc.), and finally ending up somewhere near the opposite place from where he started. I would call that an admirable and even noble journey.

Very very few people are capable of real change. They seize upon some ideology or orientation or other, and NEVER LET GO. No matter what. So, when someone DOES change, I respect it — apart from the consideration of what, specifically, they changed from or to. To be able to change, from the strongly-held convictions of earlier years, shows character and deep commitment to truth — regardless, again, of specifically what one is changing from or to.

This guy Myatt is, I submit, a man of quite some (inner) accomplishment…..”

Thus, a few enlightened individuals now, at last, seem to be able to perceive the real Myatt – the poet, the mystic, the seeker after wisdom – behind his many and diverse, and sometimes outré, involvements (again, minor reservations about sinister Insight Rôles notwithstanding).

However, no doubt this latest return by Myatt to further developing his own mystical philosophy, leading to a rejection of what he circumlocutiously describes as a particular Way of Life, which Way many consider a religion, will just give Myatt’s many detractors and opponents more fuel with which to stoke the fire of their own often impassioned prejudice.

Below are the results of some somewhat wonky straw polls about David Myatt, cobbled together from replies to e-mails sent out to some of our readers, and from the results of polls on a (members-only) Myatt discussion group.

Interestingly, the replies from e-mails almost exactly mirrored the results from the members-only (non-public) polls, with the notable exception of a greater percentage of e-mail respondents believed Myatt to be, now, an Islamist.

Although somewhat wonky – that is, not exactly scientific according to statistical criteria for polls – they do, we believe, give some interesting results, such as:

1) An overwhelming majority believe Myatt is Anton Long.

2) That a significant majority considered Myatt’s legacy would be the ONA.

3) That more people thought Myatt was an Islamist than believed him to be a Satanist.

Introduction

In a recent post, I provided sufficient information to cast serious doubt on the long-standing but unproven claim that Anton Long is and was a pseudonym used by David Myatt. My post led to a response by DL9.

This particular response, by DL9 – himself associated with the ONA for some years – raises two interesting questions, the answers to which questions do seem, to me, and several others, to confirm that Myatt is not Anton Long.

These two questions are: (1) who is the author of the Order of Nine Angles MS Diablerie: Revelations of a Satanist, which manuscript Goodrick-Clark, in his book Black Sun: Aryan Cults, Esoteric Nazism and the Politics of Identity (New York University Press, 2002) used as his primary (and indeed his only) means of associating Myatt with the persona of Anton Long; and (2) Myatt’s known, and provable, interest in the Occult in the 1970 and early 1980’s.

In addition, I analyse the differences between (1) the voluminous, and totally ONA-centric, writings of Anton Long, from the years 1974 to 2009, and (2) the voluminous, and extremely varied, if not polymathical, writings of David Myatt, from the same period. This analysis should furnish us with some evidence or some clues as to whether these are the works of two different people, or the works of one man.

The Writings of Myatt and Long

If one takes the trouble to read and assess all the writings by both Myatt and Long, it becomes quite clear that there are significant differences. To me, the most significant differences are ones of approach, of content, and of variety, and these differences, being fundamental, lead one to the inescapable conclusion that Myatt is not Anton Long. Why?

Because if one actually takes the trouble to read Myatt’s poems, spanning the years 1976 to 2009; to read his letters (especially those written between 2002 and 2008), and to read his most recent writings regarding his own philosophy of The Numinous Way (2006-2009), then one is left with an entirely different impression, and understanding, of David Myatt from the clichéd version we have become familiar with from the Internet, and from the many articles and books written about, or which make mention of, Myatt.

It is highly significant that no journalist or author who has written about, or made public pronouncements about, Myatt – from Gable and Lowles of Searchlight, to Goodrick-Clark, to Nick Ryan, to Michael Whine, to Graeme McLagen, to others – have never made any comment about, let alone read, Myatt’s poetry, his published personal letters, or his mystical writings about The Numinous Way, in which mystical writings he extols the virtues of empathy and compassion and writes at great length about the need for us to cease to cause suffering.

It is equally significant that very few individuals who make comments and public pronouncements about Myatt with such alacrity and so frequently on the Internet and elsewhere have never read these particular published and readily available works of Myatt.

Thus, their views and opinions about Myatt are shallow; at best suspect, and, at worst, based on ignorance and prejudice – the ignorance, the prejudice, the pre-judgement, of judging him by what they, often incorrectly, perceive to be his past political views or some past religious association of his. That is, they project some label onto him, and then judge him according to how they, or others, perceive that particular label. Quite often, he is judged on the basis of hearsay, rumor, or on the basis of some baseless and unproven accusation – such as the unproven accusation that he is a “Satanist”.

For had these people making such public pronouncements about Myatt, or writing comments or articles about him, actually taken the trouble to read all or even some of the aforementioned personal works of his, then they would assuredly come to very different conclusions, having had their prejudices and opinions about Myatt challenged by the evidence of these writings of his.

Here is a recent (July 2009) quote, culled from the Internet, which expresses the opinion of someone who actually took the trouble to read some of the aforementioned works of Myatt:

For it is such personal works of Myatt as the aforementioned, that – to quote the words of Julie Wright in her introduction to the first volume of Myatt’s published letters – the “real” David Myatt speaks, shorn of his varied, and changing, public personae. This David Myatt – this man pursuing an inner spiritual journey – is so very different from Anton Long, as evinced from Long’s Occult writings spanning the years 1976 to 2009, that it is quite implausible that they are the same individual, for Long’s writings are those of a man whose views, for over thirty years, are unchanged, and who writes about the same “sinister” subjects over and over again, in very much the same dialectical and diatribal way.

In contrast, Myatt’s other non-personal writings – from his early polemics about National Socialism, to his later attempts to develop a revisionist or “evolutionary” and ethical National Socialism, to the Islamist articles of more recent times – are as outer markers of this inner spiritual quest of his; a spiritual quest which, over some forty years, has taken him from Taoism, and Buddhism, to the violent politics of neo-nazism, thence to the Jihad of radical Islam, and – finally – to the mystical and compassionate spirituality of his philosophy of The Numinous Way.

Thus, Long’s entire life-long output reveals him as a consistent follower, Adept, and latterly, GrandMaster, of The Left Hand Path; as a proponent and exponent, par excellence, of The Sinister (i.e. of traditional Satanism). Myatt’s entire life-long corpus, however, reveals him as a genuine seeker after gnosis; as someone whose various and manifold practical and spiritual involvements were but steps along his own, inner, spiritual journey, which journey has now, apparently, ended with him developing his own unique and ethical philosophy, which ethical philosophy has some similarities with both Buddhism and Taoism.

There is, therefore, Anton Long, the committed and life-long Satanist, proponent of violence, and sinister culling; and David Myatt, whose life-long Promethean peregrinations have led him to change and abandon his previously held violent neo-nazi, and then his radical Islamist, views, and who now expounds upon and extols the virtues of empathy, personal love, compassion, and wu-wei.

Diablerie and Myatt’s Interest in the Occult

Diablerie:

As DL9 mentions in his interesting recent article entitled Some Questions About David Myatt and Anton Long, it is quite possible, and in my view more than likely, that the ONA manuscript Diablerie – the only known copy of which exists in the British Library – was not written by Myatt, but instead by the “real” Anton Long (now a University Professor and author of many academic tomes). Certainly, its style, contents and tone are entirely consistent with Long’s other Occult writings; and, certainly, it was issued by Thormynd Press, publisher and distributor of many other ONA works (as well as some works by Myatt).

This Diablerie is, in my opinion, a rather clever attempt to obfusticate the real identity of Anton Long; a kind of “poisoned chalice” for some unwitting journalist or author; a “jape” of the kind that Mr Anton Long has written about on many, many, occasions; and one can quite imagine Myatt’s long-standing friend – who, as Professor Kaplan noted on several occasions, held different views from Myatt and with whom Myatt disagreed about many things – and the Myatt of those years (c.1990) having a good laugh among themselves at this particular rather schoolboyish jape.

Myatt’s Interest in the Occult:

As DL9 also mentions in his article, regarding Myatt known and documented interest in the Occult in the 1970’s and early 1980’s:

” Myatt’s interest in the Occult was merely cursory (or, perhaps, scholarly), certainly temporary, and that his practical Occult involvement, such as it was, was undertaken, as he himself states, for practical, pragmatic, neo-nazi, and covert reasons, and not because he was an occultist or a satanist. “

This is indeed the most reasonable conclusion to be drawn from the facts, the evidence, available to us.

Differences Among the ONA

It might seem odd and somewhat strange, to those unacquainted with the reality of The Order of Nine Angles, that two individuals involved with the ONA for some years – DL9 and myself – have different views about a particular matter; in this case, about whether or not David Myatt is indeed Anton Long.

But the reality – on the ground, as the cliché goes – is that (1) few individuals associated with or even belonging to the ONA, in the last decade, have ever met the mysterious Anton Long; and (2) the ONA methodology, the ONA ethos, encourages and even demands, an independence of thought, and a critical and rational perusal of matters of particular interest to individuals. To actually meet the man himself, an individual associated with or belonging to the ONA must have shown a commitment to the way of the ONA spanning at least a decade, and have, at the very least, achieved by their own efforts what the ONA traditionally termed the Occult grade or stage of Internal Adept. This eliminates all but the most determined, and ensures a high level of inner security.

A Reasonable Deduction

The reasonable deduction to be drawn from the many clues and the available evidence – most of which evidence, it should be noted, is entirely circumstantial – is that David Myatt is not Anton Long, and that the two, as Professor Kaplan concluded, are entirely different individuals who were friends from the early 1970’s until some seven or so years ago, when, as friends sometimes do, they both became involved with, and fell in love with, the same woman, and parted company, with Long having then, as now, a certain personal animosity toward Myatt.

Caveat Lector

Who is Anton Long? Anton Long: the alleged founder – the documented Grandmaster – of the sinister, Occult group named The Order of Nine Angles.

For three decades, it has been assumed – by journalists, and others, of the modern sub-species Homo Hubris - that Anton Long is just a pseudonym of one David Myatt, the former fanatical and violent neo-nazi street-thug and theoretician of terror who, in the 1990’s, formed and led the NSM; who was alleged to be the mentor of and inspiration for David Copeland, the London nail bomber; who, after his controversial conversion to Islam, praised and supported bin Laden and the Taliban and penned theoretical tracts in favor of martyrdom operations (suicide bombings) and attacks on “infidel civilians”; and who now (allegedly) has returned to his now much revised mystical philosophy, The Numinous Way, which somewhat gnostic philosophy extols the virtues of empathy and compassion.

Myatt himself, however, has always denied being Anton Long, and has repeatedly challenged anyone to provide any evidence in support of this accusation, something the supporters of the Anton Long is David Myatt theory have significantly failed to do.

In addition, Professor Kaplan – author of several books where Myatt is mentioned, and who corresponded with Myatt in the 1990’s – is of the opinion that Myatt and Long are two different people. Several other people who know Myatt personally are also of this opinion.

If this is correct, and David Myatt is not Anton Long, then are there any clues as to the real identity of Anton Long, Satanist? Indeed yes. For example, Myatt has stated on several occasions when asked about the matter – for example to Nick Lowles of Searchlight, in an interview at Craven Arms, Shropshire, in 1997 – that the mysterious Anton Long was a “long-standing friend” of his. This fact is also mentioned by Professor Kaplan several times – for example, in footnote #51 of his book Nation and Race.

Who, therefore, might this mysterious long-standing friend of Myatt’s be? Myatt once let slip that he was an Oxford academic, in the 1990’s – a fact confirmed by Julie Wright in her short pseudonymous essay A Personal Encounter with DWM. But the real clue lies in the Acknowledgments section of a scholarly book published in Oxford by the OUP in the late 1980’s, where the the author states that over the years his intellectual development greatly benefited from discussions with [.....] – and here, a certain Anton Long is mentioned – along with a host of Professors, and other academic luminaries.

Research into the author of this academic work – which is now a standard text on the subject used by Universities all over the world – has revealed the astonishing fact he was in the NF in the early 1970’s and lived, at that time, in the same Yorkshire city where Myatt then lived and where Myatt, with his fellow neo-nazi and friend Eddy Morrison, founded the ultra-violent neo-nazi organization, the NDFM. Further research has revealed (1) that, at the time and for a brief period, the girlfriend of the future author of this academic work was none other than the elder of Eddy Morrison’s two sisters; and (2) that it was this person – the future Oxford Don – who acted as the go-between in arranging an interview between aspiring newspaper reporter (and then University student) Nicholas Witchell and the even then notorious street-thug David Myatt, which interview appeared in a student newspaper under the headline Evil Genius.

After the publication of the aforementioned work, the academic career of this Oxford Don blossomed, and he was, in the early years of the twenty first century, appointed to the Professorship at a German University, where he remained for many years, until his recent appointment as a Professor at another University.

Is this now renowned academic the mysterious and secretive Anton Long? There is a great deal of circumstantial evidence to support this assumption, for he has certainly been a life-long friend of Myatt; certainly had an interest in the Occult in the early 1970’s, and certainly was present in Oxford when regular ONA sunedrions were held in that city at a certain hotel owned by a lady member of the ONA, although it is rumored that he and Myatt became estranged sometime in the early part of the twentieth century when both became involved with, and fell in love with, the same woman, of East European descent.

But, one might inquire, if this erudite and now renowned academic – now author of numerous academic tomes – is indeed Anton Long, why is Anton Long credited in that Oxford published 1989 academic work? There is a quite simple answer, consistent with the character of Anton Long and with the methodology of the ONA – and this is that it was both a cryptic clue, for the sagaciously determined, as to the real identity of Anton Long, and also a jape, an “insider” (ONA) jest of the kind the ONA has often described in various of its documents. That this was the first academic book published by this author – which book launched him on the road to academic fame – is also another clue.

As to the actual name of this individual, there are more than enough clues given above for those with a serious interest in the matter to discover it for themselves. Which is, after all, I assume what the mysterious Anton Long intended.

Hey-ho, here we go, again… In a new and psychotic and malicious twist to his stalking and trolling, the “Myatt/Long-obsessed Anonymous Coward” ® has taken to setting up blogs using the name and photograph of an English woman who was the victim of a cowardly assault by some young White trash.

In these fraudulent blogs – undoubtedly put on-line without the permission of the victim herself (who could and who should sue the Anonymous Coward) – the obsessive, disturbed, stalker and Internet troll, insinuates or suggests, often by the use of “tags” which include the names Myatt and Long, that “there may be more to the Kerri Delacruz case than meets the eye…”

Undoubtedly, the psychotic “Myatt/Long-obsessed Anonymous Coward” ® thinks he is being really clever here by his “hint-hint-nudge-nudge-wink-wink” tags, and his suggestions that there is more to that assault than the Police investigation has shown. However, his attempts at trying to be clever, will be – and to some extent already are – his undoing, for by using the name (and photograph) of a person involved in a real assault and by trying to implicate someone else in this assault, the psychotic stalker has brought himself to the attention of not only the British Police, but also to an investigative journalist, both of whom will most certainly already be tracking this Anonymous Coward down, using the latest computer forensic technology.

Furthermore, his years-long attempts to smear Anton Long and David Myatt – by suggesting these two quite different individuals (see footnote below) are “hackers” and involved in attacks on “disabled people”, and by flooding the Internet with his claims and his Myatt/Long obsession – has only served to generate more interest in Long, the ONA, and in Myatt himself. Thus, he has done them, and their various works, a great service. So, well done you, the Myatt/Long-obsessed Anonymous Coward, for your efforts have produced exactly the opposite effect of what you intended. Give the Anonymous Coward a barnstar!

In the case of Mr Long and the ONA, interest has soared, with several new “nexions” (ONA-speak for sinister groups) being formed, world-wide, and with many other people appreciating, for the first time, The Dark Tradition (The Sinister Way) itself, and especially its philosophy in regard to culling. For these people, having taken the time and the effort to study the subject, now understand the ONA’s insistence on the law of personal honour (which it calls the Law of the New Aeon) and how this relates to culling, since such culling is directed at those possessed of a cowardly, a weak, personal character – at those lacking in honour. Thus:

“Those whose removal would actively benefit our long-term aeonic goals. Let me express this plainly so that it will be understood. The victim or victims would be the type of person or persons whose death by whatever means would not be mourned – someone of whom many would say: ‘He/she deserved it…’ The sacrifice would be akin to an act of natural justice. ” http://camlad9.tripod.com/sacrifice1.html

Hence, in contrast to what the “Myatt/Long-obsessed Anonymous Coward” – and others of his prejudiced kind – believe and assume, it is those who perpetrated the cowardly attack on Kerri Delacruz who would be most suitable as opfers, according to the ONA.

But of course, the “Myatt/Long-obsessed Anonymous Coward” – and others of his prejudiced kind – will not let the truth get in the way of either fabricating a good story, or their own neurotic obsession.

In the case of David Myatt, there have been several conversions to Islam, as a direct result of interested and curious individuals contacting him via e-mail and asking for “his side of the story”, and discovering, in the words of one of these converts, “the noble nature of Islam”. As Myatt himself wrote, recently (7 Rabi al-Thaani 1430) vis-a-vis rumours and allegations about him:

” There is a lot of disinformation about me on the Internet and in various books; and many unsubstantiated rumours. This is where – yet again – I find and have found the behaviour of Muslims to be honourable, for it is principle of Islam for Muslims to be suspicious of, and to ignore, rumours and allegations about one of their brothers and sisters. And this honourable behaviour of Muslims is in complete and stark contrast to the behaviour of the vast majority of those who call and called themselves “National Socialists” (or “white nationalists”), as I know from my own experience during my Jahil days, and is obvious whenever I, as a Muslim, am mentioned by such individuals today, for they dishonourably persist in believing and spreading such disinformation, rumours and allegations…”

Footnote: Myatt has always denied being “Anton Long”, and no one has ever produced any evidence to prove that he is. In an upcoming article, we shall address this topic of Long and Myatt being different people, providing, for the first time, pointers and evidence that reveal the true identity of Mr Long.

The “Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward” ® who is, and who has been for years, cyber-stalking David Myatt, has put up yet another clone-ish blog in another attempt to announce his obsession to the world. The difference? This time, he fakes what he claims is “evidence” of a certain Anton Long posting on various message boards and making threats.

This Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward ® must really be quite dim if he really believes that anyone will believe his laughable “evidence”.

Basically, the Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward fraudulently creates a user-account on some forum using the name “Anton Long”, and then proceeds to posts threats while using this user-name.

He/she/it then – using yet another user-name – claims, on his/her/its multitude of blogs and on other forums, that these fraudulent postings are “proof” or “evidence” that Anton Long has made threats, and then proceeds to write articles that these fraudulent posts, which he/she/it have written, are “proof” that Anton Long has an obsession with “disabled women” when, in fact it is the Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward who has such an obsession.

For one such posting on a forum by this “Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward”, check out:

http://www.drugwarrant.net/forum/

and also this link which is to a pdf file of the above page.

So, in summary, the Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward has been posing as “Anton Long” on message boards and forums, and making threats against disabled people, and then claiming that “Anton Long” himself has made these threats.

Perhaps it really is time for the Police to investigate the obviously criminal antics of this Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward.

Like someone wrote in one thread in reply to yet another post by the Myatt-obsessed Anonymous Coward:

The Clan, Culture, and The Numinous Way

According to The Numinous Way, both clan and culture – as defined by The Numinous Way and as manifest by and in individuals living according to the ethical guidelines of The Numinous way – are and can be expressions, manifestations, of the numinous. That is, both the clan and culture are regarded as supra-individual entities: as types of being, imbued with acausal energy; that is, imbued with life. As such, they are not causal abstractions, but rather living, changing, entities.

The Numinous Way is one means whereby new numinous clans, and new numinous cultures, can be brought-into-being, and thus not only a means whereby the numinous can be presenced in and through us, as individuals, but also whereby we as individuals, and such new communities and new cultures as arise, can evolve in harmony with themselves, in harmony with Nature, and in harmony with the Cosmos.

The Clan

Essentially, the clan, as defined and understood by The Numinous ous Way, is just a large extended family, where the individuals are personally known to each other and/or related to each other by family ties, such as marriage. Importantly, what distinguishes a clan is: (1) this personal knowing, these personal, direct, living, relationships; and (2) a certain honourable loyalty, a certain “clannishness”, based on this personal knowing and this personal loyalty. [ See Footnote 1 below ]

Thus, the clan is living: growing, changing, evolving; and it is not tied to or dependant upon any static, causal, un-numinous abstraction such as “race”. It is a coming-into-being, and the criteria for “membership”, if you will, is not determined by some causal abstraction, such as perceived (outward) ethnicity, but by personal interaction, a personal knowing, based on personal (individual) character. Hence, it is individual empathy – individual personal judgement of individuals, based on a personal knowing – which in important; a relating to individuals directly and personally; and not the classification, and judgement, of an individual or individuals according to some abstract, causal, un-numinous, criteria, such as ethnicity, status, sexual orientation, occupation, gender, and so on, etcetera.

Furthermore, the clan is the basis for establishing new, numinous, communities based on The Numinous Way itself. That is, new numinous clans can express, manifest, presence, the numinous itself by the members of such new clans living according to the numinous principles of empathy, compassion and personal honour. They are thus nexions, regions where numinous law, based upon honour, can be established, to the benefit of the individuals of such new communities. A numinous clan ceases to be numinous – ceases to presence the numinous and thus ceases to be a living, changing, evolving, being – when individual empathy, individual knowing, individual character, and individual honour, cease to be the basis for inclusion, and there is, instead, a reliance and dependence upon causal abstractions. For a living, numinous, clan is not some ideal or some static abstraction “to be loyal to” or a means whereby self-identity is felt and known and obtained, but rather a living, changing, evolving  symbiotic-being personally-known via empathy with the individuals who are that living being.

When several clans liaise or co-operate together for their mutual benefit, on the basis of the ethical and numinous principles of empathy, compassion and personal honour, then a new and numinous culture arises, distinguished as such a culture is or can be by a specific, and numinous, ethos. In essence, therefore, a numinous culture is a natural evolution of the clan.

Numinous Culture

A numinous culture is regarded, by The Numinous Way, as a type of being: some-thing which has Life; a presencing of acausal energy here on this planet surrounding our star, the Sun, which star is one star among millions in one Galaxy among billions upon billions of Galaxies in the Cosmos.

A numinous culture arises over causal time, usually through a small group of individuals (usually clan-based) ethically and numinously living in a certain area – which becomes their homeland and thus their ancestral territory – and there, n such places, having shared experiences, and thus partaking of a common heritage, a common history and so on. Over time, this specific culture developes a certain character: a certain nature, which in general serves to distinguish it from other cultures. This character may be manifest in the way of life of the people of that culture, in their spiritual outlook, in their literature, in their natural music (that is, their “folk music”). Thus, a numinous culture is not an abstract, easily defined, static, “thing” but rather is a living, changing, evolving, being – a unique type of life. Such a culture is thus a living symbiotic being – in symbiosis with the being which is (or rather which is presenced in) the land of the individuals who dwell in that certain locality; in symbiosis with that community or that collection of communities and in symbiosis with the individuals of such clans as make such communities. And it is this life, this living, which is numinous, which presences the numinous.

One of the distinguishing features of a numinous culture – of a living culture – is its smallness; its clan-like nature. Another is that those dwelling in its communities still possess an empathy with life and especially with Nature, and often also with the Cosmos, beyond. That is, there is an awareness of “The Numen”; a desire to not commit hubris, to not profane or destroy or undermine what is numinous. A culture ceases to be numinous once it strives for abstractions, and once the ground of its morality moves from the individual, the community, to something dogmatic, abstract, and idealized. That is, it ceases to be numinous when personal empathy and personal honour become replaced by causal thinking: by individuals identifying themselves with, and judging others by, abstract, lifeless, un-numinous abstractions.

Evolution and Acausal Science

The Numinous Way considers that it is such new cultures which can aid the evolution of the individual, establishing – over a certain amount of causal Time – a more evolved, more cultured, more empathic, more compassionate, more honourable, human species. Such cultures, and their clan-communities, are, or rather should be, the genesis for the next stage of our human evolution, where we leave this planet, which is currently our home, and so live and evolve and diversify among the stars of this and other Galaxies.

However, given that such numinous cultures are small – and may often be rural in nature – how can this Galactic, extra-terrestrial, development be achieved, especially since a numinous culture would most certainly not involve large national or supra-national industries, as it would not be reliant upon the usury, and the supra-national trade and commerce, which all modern States and nations depend upon?

It could and should be achieved by means of the development of a new acausal science, and the development of a new type of technology, based on acausal energy. For a numinous culture – and all empathic human beings – are, both in principle and in practice, opposed to the exploitation of the Earth, and the exploitation of the living beings of the Earth, which exploitation is inseparable from capitalism and the modern industries, and technologies, deriving from, and dependant, upon such capitalism, on such supra-national commerce, and on other causal un-numinous abstractions.

The basis for the new acausal technology is the science of causal and acausal, of the apprehension of acausal energy emanating from the acausal universe by means of living nexions [See Footnote 2 below].  In its beginnings, this new acausal science would involve the identification of acausal energy by acausal means, sans causal scientific concepts and causal scientific terms.  In its beginnings, this new acausal technology would be the control and application of acausal energy itself, sans lifeless, causal, “machines” which require an input of some fuel or some causal energy (such as electricity) to make them work.

In respect of Space Travel, there are two possibilities. The first is the development of entirely new types of machines which generate and use acausal energy, and then the further development of the new technology underlying such machines in order to use acausal energy as the source of propulsion. The second is the development of living, organic “machines” – which are acausal energy, or acausal beings – and thus the creation, or discovery, of a new type of being capable of travelling, with us or taking us, among the stars. Of these two, the most likely – at least in foreseeable future – is the development of machines which use acausal energy as a means of propulsion.

For it is this new acausal science and technology – based on acausal energy – which will finally liberate us from our present cumbersome, destructive (of Nature, and of The Numen), interventionist and un-empathic, non-living, causal technology, just as the numinous principles of empathy, compassion and personal honour – manifest in numinous clans and numinous cultures – liberate us from causal thinking, causal abstractions, and thus enable us to establish new ways of numinous, evolving, conscious life: beyond the artificial restrictive abstractions of the past, most evident today in the tyrannical State, in lifeless concepts such as that of the nation, in judging, and pre-judging, individuals, according to some lifeless. abstract, category, some term, some -ology or some -ism, and especially in our un-numinous need to seemingly identify ourselves with some particular lifeless, abstract, category, term, or -ism.

Thus, for perhaps the first time, we conscious evolving empathic human beings can attain, individually, and collectively through our new clans, and new cultures, a genuine freedom.

DW Myatt

Notes:

(1) The origin of the word clan shows its original numinous nature – the word passed into common usage in Middle English, being from Scottish Gaelic clann, meaning family, from the Old Irish cland, meaning offspring.

(2) This “new acausal science” is briefly – and somewhat tentatively – outlined in the now dated essay Acausal Science: Life and The Nature of the Acausal.

The acausal is considered to be a natural part (one particular Universe) of the whole that is the Cosmos, consisting as the Cosmos does of both Causal and Acausal Universes. It is the Causal Universe which we know through causal sciences such as Physics and Astronomy – defined as the causal is by three (causal) spatial dimensions and one, linear, causal Time dimension. The Acausal Universe can be considered as possessing n acausal Time dimensions, and n non-linear and non-spatial dimensions, where the number n is currently unknown, but conceivably is infinite.

As mentioned in several other essays, all living entities, or beings, in the causal, phenomenal, pyhsical Universe, are nexions – regions where acausal energy, from the acausal Universe, is manifest, or presenced, in the causal. The amount of this energy so manifest in the causal has some relationship to causal complexity of the living being, and it is this acausal energy which “animates” the physical matter of beings, making them “alive”. So far as we know, we human beings – by virtue of our evolution and our consciousness – manifest more of this acausal energy than the other living beings with whom we share this causal planet, Earth.

Thus, nexions are regions, or places, where the Causal and the Acausal Universes interact, or coincide, or come into contact.

Introduction to Myatt’s The Numinous Way (pdf)

David Myatt

David Myatt

According to many – if not most – of those involved with the various, world-wide, nexions of the Order of Nine Angles, the ONA is a particular Occult (esoteric) methodology: an elitist and dark, or sinister, methodology, whose primary aim is the inner transformation, and thence the evolution, of the individual; the creation of a new type of human being, and then the creation of new human elites from and by these evolved individuals.

Kudos is given to David Myatt (aka Anton Long) for creating this now influential ONA, with Myatt himself being understood – by those of and involved with or influenced by the methodology of the ONA – as one example of this methodology in action, as evident in this recent quote:

” Chloe: Myatt, how do you make sense of him? Is he a Nazi, a Satanist, a Muslim?

Kayla – Can’t he just be David Myatt? Do I change as a living person every time I change my mind? Am I truly a different person when I insight role as someone else? No, I’m still Kayla. It looks confusing from a localized perspective. Lets take a Fijian for example. This Fijian was condition mentally to bind his self identity with the single island he was born into… Fiji. Now he looks and observes an American. This American was born in Japan, works and lives part of his year in New York, has relatives in London, and relaxes for several month in a home in Vegas. From our Fijian’s localized perspective which he was mentally conditioned to see, this American is confusing… is he Japanese, a New Yorker… a Londoner… or a Nevadite (or whatever they are called in Nevada)? Do you suppose our American is confused about what he is? No, to him he is just a person, maybe an American that travels into different places in search for things. The same with Myatt. You are not the label you wear, nor the beliefs you assume; you are a person experiencing these labels and beliefs. We should have all learned this from insight roling. Myatt is just a man on a personal quest for personal enlightenment. He may have stepped into National Socialism to extract some insights he wanted, and when he got it, he moved on. He may have assumed Satanic beliefs for a while to extract what insights he saw value in, and then moved on, to a new system with new insights, adding to his collection, which pushes him forwards on his own personal quest; which really has nothing to do with me or you or anyone. It’s his thing, his life. The questions is- Can we learn from that? Doesn’t Myatt/Long offer us the same methodology he uses? It’s what makes the ONA such a practical and beautiful system of apprehension. It’s not a religion, a box, or closed dogma. It’s a collection of practical methodologies, which when applied in life/nature may be used to extract insight to aid our own personal quest. In the same way that Science is not a religion or dogmatic belief system, but a practical methodology… the Scientific Method… which when applied to life/nature may be used to extract/apprehend insight and understanding to aid in advancement. Just because a scientist who lives by the scientific method is a Nazi or a Muslim, does not mean that his methodology has changed or was given up. They are two very different things. In the same way that an Anthropologist who immerses himself in a tribal culture and “goes native” to extract and apprehend a personal, intimate understanding of the tribe, is still and anthropologist using the methodology of science. You can’t use minimal reduction and simply say Myatt was a Satanist and now he’s a Muslim. “

As Anton Long himself wrote, nearly two decades ago:

I, and others like me, are the darkness which is necessary and without which evolution and knowledge are impossible. I am also my own opposite, and yet beyond both. This is not a riddle, but a statement of Mastery, and one which, alas, so few have the ability to understand.” Diablerie: Revelations of a Satanist by Anton Long

As he also wrote, some years ago:

“For over three decades I have been on both a quest and a mission. The quest has been to experience, and learn from, the possibilities of life. The mission has been to change this world of ours: to move it toward the next stage of our human evolution. This next stage involves us in learning to develope, and use, certain faculties. In simple terms, the next stage involves us in growing-up: in living, behaving, as mature human beings, and in leaving home, that is, this planet.

The reality of the present is that the majority of people are far from human maturity, living as they do like human children in adult bodies, in thrall to their passions, desires, and easily influenced and swayed by other people, by rhetoric, by Media manipulation, by unconscious energies, and other such things.

A truely mature human being is one who has mastered themselves; one who can know and experience great sorrow, great happiness, great joy, great suffering, but who remains strong despite such things. Such a mature individual is unique, and truely free. One of the signs of our immaturity is that most of us need to assign labels to ourselves and others, for this gives us a sense of security, of identity. It enables us to believe that we “know and understand” other people. For a mature individual, the labels of society are irrelevant.

Thus, in my own life I have been many things, according to conventional labels… But these conventional labels are irrelevant.

The error is that life, being in essence acausal, cannot be described in the finite causal terms inherent in all such labels, categories, concepts and isms. To so describe it, is to limit and mis-understand it: to impose a causal perception upon what is not-causal…..

I have been a pioneer in the Art of Magick. I have created a practical system of training – physical, psychic, magickal, personal – which works: which can and which does produce genuine Adepts and Masters/Mistresses of Earth. I have also striven to go to the limits of presently existing human experience, involving myself in a practical, life-enhancing, often dangerous, way, with many ways of life. There have been dark deeds; there have been light deeds; confrontations with the essence. I have done this to learn; to understand myself and others; to distil from such experiences the very essence of life, of magick, itself. In one way, I am, could be, or should be, a role-model, for those inclined to voyage toward the next stage of our human evolution. In one sense, I have transcended beyond old, causal forms, devoid of labels, of isms, of rituals, even words. And here, in this one human life, are meanings; here is the essence itself; here is the stage beyond that of Mastery, which few recognize, and even fewer understand.

No doubt those who cling to the old Aeon, of immature human beings, will find some material in this present work to castigate me, and to use to try and discredit me and my work, as no doubt such people will continue to view me, themselves, others and the world through the primitive labels, categories and isms which have kept us in thrall for centuries. Some may even use some trendy theory in an attempt to re-interpret or explain my life and me as an individual. I do not care. I have never cared about such things. Indeed, such things make me smile, or laugh.” Preface to Presencing the Dark: The Weird Life of Anton Long, dated 114yf
